MOE Work Plan Seminar 2015 Announcements
Minister for Education, Mr Heng Swee Keat, has shared at the MOE Work Plan Seminar on 25 Sep that the aim of ten years of basic education is for every student to acquire a broad and deep foundation for his/her lifelong journey of life and learning. This could be thought of in terms of Breadth, Depth and Length :
- Breadth is about remaining broad and inclusive in our approach of providing opportunities for every child, and giving each child a broad and holistic education.
- Depth is about every child having deep values and a deep commitment to Singapore, and having deep foundation in their education.
- Length is about every child embracing lifelong learning and learning for life.
Every school provides a quality education for every child. See this video on how schools prepare every child to acquire a broad and deep foundation for lifelong learning.
Check out what Minister himself has posted on his FaceBook . You may also catch Mr Heng’s full speech, together with accompanying videos and details of the announcements, at http://www.moe.gov.sg/work-plan-seminar/
