Panasonic-NEA Environment Champions Industry Module

On the 13th of March, the Eco-school leaders attended the Panasonic-NEA Environment Champions Industry Module. This workshop is a platform for the students to gain first-hand knowledge of environmental measures adopted by industries, such as energy conservation, resource conservation and pollution control, with coaching from Panasonic staff.

The workshop started off with an introduction of the use of solar panels to generate electricity. After which, there was a factory tour where the students saw the different stages in building the components of a refrigerator. Lastly, there was a hands-on Solar Light Craft session where the students put together the different parts of a portable light powered by solar energy. It was a fun-filled and enriching experience for the kids.
